  • Navigating special education support for your child can feel challenging and confusing. At the end of the day, we ALL want your child to experience success and for you as a parent to feel seen, heard, and know that your child is getting the support that they need. When you (the parent/guardian) disagree with the decision that the school team has made for special education eligibility, we partner with you and your child’s school team to provide a second opinion at no cost to you. If you are interested in partnering or learning more, please contact us and we can explain the process.

  • If you are interested in a less comprehensive evaluation but are curious if there are phonological processing deficits present, a Dyslexia Screening may be helpful. During this assessment, factors of phonological processing will be examined, alongside a brief examination of reading and spelling skills. This is not sufficient in providing an official diagnosis of Dyslexia; however, this can provide a good starting point in determining if a comprehensive evaluation is warranted. Should you start with a screening and then later decide to pursue a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation, the comprehensive evaluation will be prorated to the amount spent on the Screening.

  • In the university setting, a college student who has a disability, or suspects that they might, cannot receive accommodations unless there is documentation of their specific need by a qualified professional. We help thoroughly examine the differences the student faces and what accommodations and supports may be most appropriate. Additionally, we provide evaluations to confirm diagnoses for high-stakes testing, such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, and Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), so that accommodations may be provided.
